The hostesses picked out this cake. Pink Cake Box is one of my favorite cake websites because their work is very clean and simple. I replicated their cake (minus the bow on the top tier), but changing the colors to match the shower/nursery. Here is my version:
Both tiers are chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream. The baby will be named Luke - hence the "L" in the elephants lap. The elephant and "L" are gumpaste.
